Hiking Magazine
The Challenge:
MOCK Project: A hiking magazine "Hiking 101" wanted a small spread on various popular hiking areas in Japan. They required the layout system and photography to be provided. It was an exercise of typography, layout systems, colour theory  and copywriting.
The Solution:
My own photography from my working holiday in Japan formed a fantastic backdrop to the article. Balance had to be made between word-heavy approach and visual hierarchy as there were no sub-headings or block quotes to break it up.
